Long Beach Marina originally opened in 1947, and the Minervino family purchased the property in 1988. Sam and Jan Minervino bought the business from Sam’s parents in 2000 and have continued to invest in the property and their dedicated crew, while maintaining the family atmosphere and personalized attention associated with the marina.

A dedicated service department was added in 2019, expanding the marina’s ability to provide year-round care. Long Beach Marina has added a 24,000 square foot indoor rack storage building, capable of handling 200 boats, allowing more boat owners to take advantage of its complete seasonal service.

Today, the marina offers everything from pontoon rentals and moorings to mechanical service, secure indoor boat storage and complete Dock-to-Dock service packages designed to take much of the work out of boat ownership.

For customers who would rather spend their time enjoying Sebago Lake than worrying about hauling, trailers, winterization and seasonal preparation, Long Beach Marina can handle the process from beginning to end.

Its Dock-to-Dock service offers convenience at both ends of the boating season. In the fall, customers can leave their boat on one of the marina’s moorings or arrange for Long Beach Marina to pick it up right from their dock. The marina pulls the boat from the water, handles the necessary end-of-season services including a bottom wash and complete winterization, then places it into secure indoor storage for the winter.

Secure indoor storage is an important part of the marina’s approach to boat care. Rather than leaving a vessel exposed to months of snow, ice, wind and changing Maine temperatures, customers can have their boat professionally prepared and stored indoors until boating season returns.

When spring arrives, the convenience works in reverse.

Customers can choose individual services or a comprehensive package that allows the marina to manage virtually everything involved with taking a boat out of the water in the fall and returning it to the lake in the spring.

The service department is available to all customers, and boaters do not have to rent a seasonal mooring at Long Beach Marina to take advantage of service packages or secure indoor winter storage.

Long Beach Marina also maintains a fleet of pontoon boats for multi-day and weekly rentals. For boaters already on the water, its full-service fuel dock is easily accessible directly from the open lake, without tricky channels or rivers to navigate.

Nightly, weekend and weekly mooring rentals are also available seasonally, with shuttle service between shore and customers’ vessels. An easily accessible launch ramp provides another option for getting onto Sebago Lake.
